A three-wicket haul by Namrata Raghubanshi and an unbeaten 32 by GM Alkananda helped Odisha beat Assam by three wickets in their fourth and last match of the East Zone U-16 Women’s One-day League at Melaghar in Tripura today. This was the third win for Odisha and they finished runners-up with 12 points.
Bengal won all four of their league matches to emerge champions, while Jharkhand and Assam secured third and fourth positions respectively with two and one win respectively. Tripura finished last, losing all of their four matches.
